Cancellation/Missed Appointments
If you will not be able to keep your scheduled appointment, we ask that you give us 24-hour advance notice. We understand that on occasion you may have an emergency which prevents you from making your appointment. In any case, we may have to assess a cancelled appointment fee, based on the circumstances.

Eye Exams
When you schedule an annual eye exam, you will need to bring your glasses with you if you wear them. The doctor may dilate your eyes during the exam; if so, your vision will be somewhat blurry and sensitive to light for a few hours.  You may want to have someone drive you to this appointment. If you wear contact lenses, please bring the prescription information with you.

Medical Records
If you want to provide the doctor with a copy of medical records from another doctor, we will provide you a release form. You will need to personally request your records from your other doctor and sign the form.

Prescription Refills
Please allow 2 business days to process refills. We request your help in requesting refills in advance of your actually needing them.  When you need refills for medications the doctor prescribed, please call your pharmacy. The pharmacy will contact us, usually by fax (703-753-2183), to obtain authorization for refills.
